I Don't Give a Fuck
I can't get upset when I hear about something bad that happens to people I don't know. Call me an asshole if you want, but I don't give a shit. 100,000 people in China can die in an earthquake, and I'm at home jerking off to porn. I do nothing to help them either. I don't send money or food or clothing. Why? Because if they were me and I were them, they wouldn't help me. They'd be driving their SUVs and watering their lawns while I'm dying of starvation or gangrene. Fuck 'em.
It's not like I haven't suffered. Who helped me when Chuck Margolis beat me up in the 7th grade? Where was my care package when I lost my construction job? I've got my own fucking problems, so don't try to guilt me into parting with any of my shit for some random peasant who lives 7000 miles away and can never pay me back.
All that matters to me is what happens in my little life. When I read about people getting tortured in Iraqi prisons I don’t blink an eye, but when my dog shits in the basement, that pisses me off.
