Death is Too Good for Hussein
Pop quiz: What should be done to someone who has imprisoned, tortured and murdered thousands of innocent people?
A) Make him suffer for his crimes.
B) Spend taxpayer money supplying him with lawyers, lodging and medical care that many hard-working people will never be able to afford.
The answer, at least in civilized societies, always seems to be B. Ever since Saddam Hussein was captured, he has been living free of the punishments he deserves. If the Iraqi government had any balls they'd be using him as a human pinata.
I don't need to recap all of his crimes, but here are a few: He used oil money to build palaces for himself and his relatives instead of feeding the starving Iraqi people, many of who died of starvation. He murdered thousands of Kurds with chemical weapons. He had many thousands of people imprisoned, tortured and murdered. He had special prisons built for children, and had political opponents' children tortured in front of them.
But the United States gets the moniker "Great Satan".
The man is one of the biggest cowards ever to rule any land. When U.S. forces were closing in on him, he didn't even have the modicum of courage necessary to commit suicide, as Hitler did. Instead, he hid in spider hole, hoping that he wouldn't be found and that American soldiers would leave so he could continue to ruin innocent people's lives. The fucker.
He's lucky I wasn't one of the soldiers who found him. I would have broken every bone in his body, connected my Army vehicle's battery cables to his nuts, hit the ignition, and danced a jig while he writhed in agony.
But he was merely taken into custody and has been handled a lot more gently than your typical street criminal. He even got medical and dental care. What was particularly enraging about his pampering was how the Vatican reacted. They actually criticized the U.S. for treating Hussein "like a cow". Jesus Christ, what the hell's wrong with those morons? I mean, besides being a bunch of pedophiles? What did they want us to do with him? Give him his own parish and a few altar boys to sodomize?
It gets worse. Ramsey Clark claims that Hussein's rights have been "violated". I guess the rights of the people Hussein fed into meat grinders feet first don't count as much as his. Is there any more anti-American action a U.S. citizen can take than defending Hussein? Clark is worse than a mere commie pinko liberal - he's an aider and abettor of terrorism. But what can we expect from a man who flew to Hanoi to give comfort to the North Vietnamese while American POWs were being beaten, tortured and killed; and flew to Tehran to condemn the "crimes of America" while his fellow citizens were being held hostage by Iranian militants? No wonder he endorsed Kerry.
Hussein has been arguing with judges and challenging the legitimacy of the court. You know why? Because he's being coddled. He should be shaking in his boots, afraid to stand up to anyone because he is so obviously guilty and because anything he says would be used as an excuse to knock his teeth out. Instead, the authorities are allowing him to misbehave. He smiles as he hurls false accusations because he realizes that he is being handled by civilized people who will never beat, burn or electrocute him, no matter how much he deserves it. He's probably thinking, "They're actually allowing me to speak, not torturing me, and saying that I have rights. What a bunch of pussies!"
So once again injustice has prevailed. Even when he is convicted, he will get a quick death by hanging or lethal injection or some other excuse for "punishment".
And they ask me why I drink.
